SWARM is heading back to the Civic underground for a night of unadulterated funky techno goodness on Friday February the 11th.
For this very special edition of PLUS ONE at the Civic, Australian ex-pat Dj Bold is set to take control of the wheels of steel. Some of you may recall the wickedness that was Dj Bold at the second SWARM SEQUENCE event back at the infamous 61 Regent Street techno temple circa 2000.
Since then Dj Bold has established himself as a regular player within the European techno circuit, performing along side some of the biggest names within underground techno world.
Added to this we also have the return of Adelaide's god father of techno, Dj Devious as well as a newcomer to the SWARM ranks, Adelaide's Matt Abstrax.
And of course no SWARM would be complete without the added musical machinations of Dj Vic Zee and Mookie.
So get ready for an absolutely insane night of Funky techno at the Civic Underground for a PLUS ONE FRIDAY, where the sound system is world class, the venue and decor are top notch and the SWARM UNDERGROUND VIBE is in full effect.
PS: It's also VIC ZEE's birthday weekend so come help him celebrate, and further enhance his brain cell development on this very auspicious and profound occasion !! :P

DJ Bold:
DJ BOLD first began Djing, back in 1992, after many late night club sessions, bugging out to the sounds of the infamous DJ HMC at the original Juice Records all night parties. Inspired to look further into the music, producing soon became a focal point. As his DJ sets continued to develop and gain a certain distinctive style so too did his work in the studio.
'Slamming mental techno with thick chunky grooves, stabby synth lines and ass kicking energy' (Cheap Thrills, Sonic Groove U.S.A).
A string of vinyl and CD releases between 1996 and 2006 saw DJ BOLD gain international respect as a producer as well as a DJ. Starting his own label - Vast Recordings was the first natural step for Bold and the label was founded with his first two vinyl releases - Mission 8 ep and Turntable Phonetix.
Other production highlights for Bold included vinyl releases for Rush's labels High Octane and Kne' Deep based in Chicago and Berlin. Other releases followed on Australia's Dirty House Records, Symbolism from UK, Nerven Records and X-zel from USA.
Performance highlights include I love Techno, Monegros Festival, Awakenings, Gazometer, Dance Valley plus clubs and partys all over the world..Chicago, New York, Brasil, Germany, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and many more.
