Mainland Europe has a hotbed of talent just waiting to be tapped and so this coming year we'll be raiding the Ryanair flight sales to bring you some stellar producers from our neighbouring countries. Helping to coax a bit of sunshine out of a usually drab February will be Barcelona's My Dry Wet Mess, as well as a cracking support lineup featuring the Dilla-esque Wolverhampton beatmaker Keaver & Brause, our blog buddies You'll Soon Know and our merry residents - the Fat Controller and Bare Girls.

MY DRY WET MESS (Magical Properties)

A young laptop-slinging prodigy whose live show steps into the A/V arena with startling results, MDWM will be set to stun for his first UK show. His debut album, Irrational Alphabet, demonstrated an incredible ear for melodies, dancing somewhere between the Star Wing theme and choppy UK bass, whilst throwing a sizable amount of 8-bit influence in there. And if you don't believe that this kid's got visual skills to boot then check out his sets below. This really will be unmissable...

KEAVER & BRAUSE (Dealmaker/Kona Triangle)

Another artist to release a ear-opening album in 2010 was Keaver & Brause. A deceivingly-named solo artist from the Midlands (i.e. the UK's answer to LA), his long-player The Middle Way displayed a mean knack for staggered West-Coast hits and a chopped samples in ways that is only starting to be fully mastered on these shores. Selecting cuts from hip-hop, funk, soul and any manner of other genres, there'll be little sonically left to the imagination once he's finished spinning.

YOU'LL SOON KNOW DJs

As champions of aforementioned MDWM, as well as providing a snap education in modern beats and bass, YSK are one of the forerunners for freshest music blog on the planet. Their contributors will be pulling out all the stops to delight and entice whether it be with just-in-the-inbox jams or classics you thought you'd never hear out, prepare to be surprised!

THE FAT CONTROLLER & BARE GIRLS

When not hunting down cat videos and screen grabs from our favourite B-movies our residents actually try and fins new tunes here and there. Expect to be chugging milkshakes to the sounds of Samiyam, Letherette, Tiger & Woods, Star Slinger, Flying Lotus, Lapalux, J Dilla, Krystal Klear, Pariah, Bubble Club, Sumsun, Take, Brenmar, Knxwledge, Machinedrum, Cupp Cave, Devonwho, mndsgn, Jai Paul, monkey_sequence.19, Onra, Young Montana?, Fur, Mount Kimbie, Shigeto, Fantastic Mr Fox, matthewdavid, Shlohmo, Martin Kemp, Patten, Blank & Kytt, Addison Groove, Devooo, Ghostpoet, Run DMT, Doom, S.Maharba and Walter Gibbons...
