A killer party, that's what, especially as guests include: John Roman (Toronto / UK Tour), Harry James (O'Children), Kezokichi (Back to Back), Nic Liu (Love International), Red Pig Flower (Seoul), Pressplay Dj (This Is Not A Rave), Sigmund Kraftwerk (Caligula), Migo (Red Sensations)

“If there's one producer who hasn't been getting the hype he deserves this year, it's John Roman.”

After massive blog exposure, multiple number 1 tracks on Hype Machine, record label interest and international gig offers, Roman went into reclusion. While his music continued to spread and build popularity, the Toronto-based artist had seemingly disappeared. Hints of his whereabouts were whispered in the dance community –

November, Brodinski’s chart features a track called “Save Us” (John Roman Nigerian Dub) by Nadastrom; December, ElectroTO’s “Producing for Presents” EP features an unreleased original John Roman track “Sing!” which is pulled from the site after a week; January, a mysterious remix of Proxy’s “8000” starts appearing in virtually all of Congorock’s sets; February, rumors begin about a mixtape of unreleased John Roman tracks called “Reclusion”; March, Roman’s remix of

Smalltown Romeo’s “Boom Ha” appears on Plant Music’s Scion A/V sampler; April, NT89 charts “Coma” by John Roman in his Resident Advisor Chart; May, Discobelle Records release “Save Us” (John Roman Nigerian Dub) in Neoteric’s Turned On Vol. 1 compilation; June, the rumors are confirmed – “Reclusion” arrives.

- Pressplay Dj (This Is Not A Rave!)
http://www.myspace.com/pressplaythedj

When not messing about in his studio doing reworks and edits, Pressplay likes to do the odd mash up dj set. He’s a die hard indie fan turned to the dark side of electro-dance music. Growing fast in the London scene, Pressplay spans genres, and has played alongside the likes of Basement Jaxx, Trevor Loveys and Andy George all the way to indie new tones The Maccabees and My Tiger My Timing. Now working on his first original productions, with influences from Fidget, Indie and Electro expect the unexpected and get ready to dance. Did he just drop an indie-remix?!

- Red Pig Flower (Seoul)
http://soundcloud.com/ekalprince

Red piG floweR, like a red pig that cross-pollinated with a flower and thereby mutated into a new species, works as a professional DJ, producer and artist. After feeling the good vibes while exploring clubs in Japan, she made the decision to become a DJ. Red piG floweR began Djing at the Korean club Air under the alias Ekal, during which she sizzled up the dancefloor with tribal beats in an impressive style.

From 2009, she became more well known as a party guest DJ and organizer, working with artists such as House Rules from Korea and Capsule, Hico and Towa Tei from Japan. She became an outreach DJ for the Pacemaker product and in 2010, became sponsored by the Samick Innovative Music System, a Korean branch of Native Instruments. However, Red piG floweR’s most extraordinary skill is her habit of getting peoples’ hearts racing with tribal beats and cooling the steam off with upbeat techno sets.
As she continues to explore new beats and grooves with Abelton Live as a laptop DJ, her dexterous skill with all types of controllers and equipment continues to widen in spectrum. Armed with a mind for experiment, she will never cease to produce only her very own unique sound.

Beginning in 2010, Ekal changed her alias to Red piG floweR and began preparing for the Tokyo Red party to launch in Korea during the summer. She continues displaying her talent by crossing bridges as an organizer, introducing Japanese artists to Korea, Korean artists to Japan, and causing earthquakes, floods, volcanos and other natural disasters with her ferocious sound.
