Navitas / Born and raised in Cambridge, Navitas aka Matt Taylor is a London based DJ/Producer of House through to Techno music.
As a producer, starting for the young age of 13 with his brother, Navitas has created a sound built up on African rhythms and driving bass lines. Taking influences from the likes of Steve Lawler, to Manuel De La Mare, this has become the basis of the music he makes. As a DJ, Navitas plays anything from House to Techno. A mix of tunes with big house vocals and Latin grooves, to underground darker, driving tunes, incorporating DJ tools and a-capellas on the way. In early 2010, Navitas started CasaTech Records. Gradually growing, the label now has exiting new and established talent producing music for them and also has a residency at The Gallery, Ministry Of Sound.
Akil Varinda / Originally from Portugal started djing and organising events 5 years ago, played at various clubs in Portugal such as Santa Loucura, Pacha and Tecnolandia, Spain la Rotura and Megafunk, in Londons Ministry of Sound, Whitehouse, Sugar Hut etc. Music wise expect a blend of vocal tech and progressive house. And Akil loves old school Chicago house. And to let you in on a little secret this guy started the nights called Angel Dust which are one of Londons best kept secret spot with pure underground music.
