The Royal College of Music (RCM) is one of the world's leading conservatoires, training the very best young performers and composers from around the globe.
The RCM's performance of Trans in the South Bank Centre's 2008 Stockhausen Festival was described as 'the highlight of the weekend... brilliant' (The Daily Telegraph) and 'stunningly played' (The Times).
Now the stars of tomorrow return to the South Bankcentre for a programme of three of Xenakis's most appealing and widely performed works - the gripping percussion trio Okho, which features the amazing sound of three African djembe drums, the jazz-inspired saxophone quartet XAS. and the thrilling two-part solo percussion work Rebonds, which opens and closes the concert.
