down_under sadly comes to their last party at Silo on 2 April 2011. The club is closing their doors as you probably all know by now. A big shame for the Belgian club scene and for down_under, as this magical place became like a home for us. There are so many good memories left, so many nights filled with great people, celebrating on the best underground house & techno around. We truly are gonna miss this club, but we want to fin...ish things off with a bang, so down_under can find new pathways at the top of his game. That's why we chose to present you a huge line up, with some of our favorite artists from over the years we saw behind the decks at down_under. We hope you can all be part of this, this is gonna be a very special night!

MATTHIAS TANZMANN (Moon Harbour/Circoloco DC10)

There is no need to describe again what this man is all about. The success of his Moon Harbour label has seen the explosion of Matthias Tanzmann's DJ career, which now takes him almost continuously around the global club and festival scenes. Another factor in his success has been his residency at the famous party series Circoloco at DC10 in Ibiza since 2007. Matthias sound is always been very influential for down_under and we really wanted to have him behind the decks at this final party at Silo.

From the beginning Matthias’s musical output has revolved around more than just functional club music, regardless of whether it’s on the turntables or in the studio. Combining subtle arrangements that ride the deep vibes that lie between House and Techno, yet never forgetting the drive for the dance floor - that is what Matthias Tanzmann’s music is about.

CHRISTIAN BURKHARDT (Oslo / Raum...musik)

Burkhardt`s sounds cannot simply be reduced to a few catchwords. In spite of his clear groove patterns he manages to achieve a very subtle and complex rhythmic creation. His live set is constantly evolving and consists of songs that are exclusively created for the respective medium.

Christian attracted initial attention in 2007, when his publications with Oslo Records and Raum…musik found their way into the record cases of LOTS OF international respected DJs. A special live set from him completes this line up to the max we thought. dont you?

tINI

Known for her flailing blonde curly hair and a powerful, vivid temper that she teases through her tunes, tINI knows instinctively how to enchant the crowd behind the decks. We could not resist to get her back at down_under for this occasion.

Nowadays she is touring around the world and spreads her energy and powerful music where ever she appears. With a love for music that began with the beat of a drum, it’s all about the deep-rolling grooves. Her music is deep, percussive, impulsive and her energy is electric. We can not wait to have her back at Silo.
