Chemistry Mardi Gras Extravahganza Sat 5th March

It's that time of year: Mardi Gras. An event synonymous with the good things in life, a lavish celebration of sexuality and the individual, and an occasion where different subcultures band together and, in the words of Primal Scream, get loaded.

Wikipedia elucidates that Mardi Gras incorporates such customs as "wearing masks and costumes, overturning social conventions and dancing" - bang on as usual wiki, and we expect nothing less from you come Saturday 5 March.

On this - fast approaching - date we'll cram as many folk as possible into the intimate confines of the sleek Velvet club space (The Beauchamp), located on and offering a ringside seat to the Mardi Gras parade itself, and get down to an array of top-drawer house and techno courtesy of some of the finest DJs from the Australian east coast.

The Chemistry Mardi Gras bash traditionally fills up early, so the inside word is to settle on an outfit in advance and cart your gorgeous behind to the club ASAP for a night of unbridled, no-holes-barred and sexually ambiguous dance floor antics.
