The Therapy once again, invite you to indulge in our weekend sanctuary of rhythmic formations, sculptural soundscapes and musical tones. This month’s appointment is set to impress and it is with immense pleasure, that we announce The Therapy’s April guests...
Alexis Bernard, or Seuil to the world of dance music, has constructed a flawless and well deserved reputation as an immensely talented dj and producer over the last years. Triggering his career in Paris in 2000 at clubs such as the infamous Rex and La Scène Bastille, it wasn’t long before Seuil caught the attention of international leaders of the club circuit. Fabric, DC10, Panorama, Harry Klein and many more have now become regular haunts for the headlining live act and dj. The Therapy is more than pleased to host the extraordinarily talented artist, and our very good friend...Seuil.
Joining us for some music therapy of her own is none other than Margaret Dygas. Dygas, although now a Berlin resident is far from unknown to the floors of London’s night life; both as an artist, music lover, and once upon a time – the door girl at Home. Her discovery of house music started in New York in the early nineties when she moved to study fashion at the renowned Fashion Institute of Technology. Before long her college friends had introduced her to the whirlwind underground club scene; the flamboyant gay clubs where vogueing was all the rage, dressed up club kids, intimate basement techno nights, jungle gatherings and scores of insane house parties. Now making her first moves into production, her DJing style continues to develop and blossom. The electronic-tech vibe of her present sets incorporate the deep and minimal sounds she loves but retains the driving funk of her musical past.
Being made resident of Berlin’s Club de Visionaire at the tender age of eighteen is quite an achievement, one that belongs to Therapy’s third guest for this edition, Janina. Berlin born Janina has been an active part of the music scene since she dropped out of school at sixteen, driven by her obsessive love and determination within the electronic music realm. The defining moment of Janina’s career came when techno veteran Sammy Dee gave her the opportunity to release on the highly lauded Perlon label. To this day, Janina’s obsession has not faltered, and she spends her days perfecting her dj’ing technique, immersing herself in musical history and working on her own productions.
Our three European guests will be joined by Robin Ordell, a name and face that most will be familiar with through his Half Baked residency and regular London performances. Ordell’s recently released ‘The Show’ with Felipe Venegas remix on Tolfrey’s label Leftroom and ‘Your’e my edit’ on Remake have received nothing but praise from artists and press alike. Robin’s ascending mark on the underground scene continues with a packed European gig schedule and his meticulously mixed sets of deep house and solid techno.
And for the afterparty we are heading to PARIS on the 8th May(Sunday)- 10am till 6pm :
