CALM, the men’s wellbeing charity has launched a national initiative with TOPMAN, which see the men’s fashion retailer distribute the charity’s RESET magazine across the North West and London.
The Charity, which originated in Manchester, with one of the original Trustees being the late Anthony Wilson, is celebrating the partnership and raising funds by holding exclusive RESET magazine DJ nights.
CALM - campaign against living miserably, was set up in response to the high suicide rate in young men. The charity uses music to communicate and reach out to young men under 35, to give them something to identify and educate young men that there is somewhere to go to talk about their problems in confidence.
Jamie Scahill from CALM said “ Music continues to form a major part of how we market CALM and this initiative to celebrate our partnership with TOPMAN is a fantastic opportunity to get our message to even more young men, raise funds and of course have a great night’”
The nights will see a whole host of top DJs and celebrities in attendance with the hope of raising at least £5000. The money raised will help CALM continue the amazing work it does and ensure the website and helpline is there when a guy feels he is ready to sort his head out.
Danielle Ford, Senior Marketing Manager, Topman adds, “RESET Magazine has been a significant step in helping us to communicate the many challenges and taboo issues young men will face. At Topman we are passionate in our quests to help CALM to bring down the number of male suicide incidents in the UK. Music is at the heart of all we do and we feel privileged to be a part of the RESET nights with such a brilliant line up of DJ talent.”
The launch nights will take place on:
