Tee Scott “God Father of Soulful dance music”
Tee Scott gained a reputation for being the first DJ known to spin with 3 turntables at once.In 1979, he produced his first remix “Love Thang” by First Choice, which became a dance floor classic, being this the start of a successful career as a remixer that gave him credit for appearing in more than 150 tracks, including the ones for the legendary labels Salsoul and West End.
James Brown “God Father of Soul”
Brown began his professional music career in 1956 and rose to fame during the late 1950s and early 1960s on the strength of his thrilling live performances and string of smash hits. Brown's career spanned decades, and profoundly influenced the development of many different musical genres. He moves on a continuum of blues and gospel-based forms and styles to a profoundly Africanised approach to music making.
