After the success of the first Jukebox in November 2010 at Café 1001, when Loefah (DMZ / Swamp 81) tore JukeBox to pieces with an incredible set of dubs and 130bpm madness, Jukebox returns, to a new home, on Saturday March 19th 2011 headlined once again by the man himself, Loefah.
Our new venue, Bar A Bar, offers a basement venue with a stripped down back-to-basics rave feel, a massive FUNKTION 1 sound system, a bar, a light and a dark dancefloor to lose yourself on. The venue is reminiscent of Plastic People in the early days, just far enough off the beaten track to mean no wallies, and will be one for the heads to make a regular in the coming months.
We are again showcasing established and upcoming DJs, this time in the form of Markle, Mr Beatnick, Moxie and Boomnoise all playing the latest dubstep, house, minimal, techno, garage and whatever else in between,
Get your tickets early as we had way more people in before midnight last time than we could actually fit in the basement of Bar A Bar.
