Following a very successful debut year at Cabaret Voltaire’s Speakeasy room last year, with some very memorable nights had along the way featuring some top guests, we are now delighted to announce SOULOCO is back for 5 big dates in 2011 in a brand spanking new venue, which we are very excited about.......

We have secured the capital’s coolest and most intimate club space, Below Stairs @ Hawke & Hunter. Below Stairs, a modern basement club with state of the art sound & lighting, complete with a uniquely styled canopied outdoor terrace, has been Edinburgh’s best kept secret for the best part of a year, and we are now looking forward to showcasing 5 special events featuring some of the best and up and coming DJ’s on the circuit.

For our relaunch date on Easter Sunday 24th April, we are delighted to announce BURNSKI as our first guest of 2011, one of the UK’s hottest talents and the man responsible for arguably 2010’s biggest hit, Malibu (with Rob James signed to Jones and Foss’ Hot Creations imprint). By night, he holds down a DJ residency at one of the UK’s outstanding club nights (Back to Basics in Leeds) and by day, he is a tireless and imaginative producer who, each day, rarely misses as an opportunity to experiment with sounds from his subterranean studio bunker in the north of England.

Laying down a marker from his very first release back in 2005 on the highly respected Trapez label, Burnski has continually upped his game and is now a regular contributor on Morris/Audio, 2020 Vision and, most recently, delivering a succession of highly rated offerings on Hot Creations and sister labels Poker Flat and Dessous.
