If your not sure what a tee party is, well it ain't no alice in wonderland shindig, and we ain't looking for your standard plain american apparel or Topman. Primarini will not suffice. One colour fits all boringness is actively discouraged. The more unusal, the more colourful, the more offensive/inviting/intriguing/picturesque/fucked up the better. We want to make the United Colours of Benetton look like a poor mans rainbow.
RSVP us with your best tee party efforts and we will guarantee our best hospitality, brewing up some serious beats with a line up to fill your mugs up. Forget your elevenses, we will be stirring you from 10pm-4am with an oh so sweet tasting line up.
We are very pleased to introduce Ben Sun, co-founder of Voyeurhythm records, as our headliner, lining up along side our residents, Ben is on disco duty to drop some heavy freestyle mixing. Together with the VR family Ben has been releasing and remixing aplenty, growing up on a balanced diet of motown soul, golden era jazz-funk, and the full spectrum of American house music. His debut release ‘When You Looked’ drew comparisons to the legendary KDJ, and subsequent releases earned him widespread international support; charted and played by folks like Jacques Renault, Scott Ferguson, San Soda, Prins Thomas, Recloose and Mark E to name just a few. Anyone who missed out on picking up VR 003, is missing the treat of playing Salty Tears! As well as his releases on Voyeurhythm, Ben has remixed Detroit house don Reggie Dokes for Dutch label Royal Oak and has several more new projects in the pipeline for release this Summer. With the foundation laid in production, 2011 will also see the emergence of many more guest mixes, club and party sets as he gets back to his roots as a deejay and shares the best of his ever-deepening crates.
Oh yes, further announcement we have just secured Mr Megadon Betamax, second co-founder on this soon to be legendary label. Megadon Betamax is the indeterminable creation of producer, DJ and Voyeurhythm co-founder Mostyn. Known to most for his past hip hop projects and collabs, 3 years ago Mostyn joined forces with friends and longtime analog contributors, Castro and Endless Endless. Working together to form an audio voltron, their mash of individual influences and kit conveys their love for warm, deep and funky records.
