''HAPPY EASTER!'' HOLIC will celebrate the Easter holiday at a fresh new location in the heart of Shoreditch. This large capacity studio, equipped with an amazing mezzanine, smoking area, and CLEAN toilets, is only 1 minute away from Tesco on Shoreditch High street.

On the music front, we have two special guests from Edinburgh and Berlin.

Linkwood

Linkwood is Producer, Engineer and DJ Nick Moore.
Best known for his highly acclaimed releases on Firecracker Records, including 'Miles Away' and 'Piece of Mind', Linkwood released his first LP ‘System’ for Prime Numbers in September 2009 - an album which has taken him around the world.
As a teenager growing up in Bristol in the late 80’s/early 90’s, Linkwood became fascinated with house and techno. This inspired him to make his own music and learn everything possible about production and recording techniques. With a reputation for hype-dodging, the infamously elusive Linkwood now has forthcoming tour dates set for Europe, Japan, USA and Australia.

Martin Dawson Live
(aka King Roc, Two Armadillos)

With the arrival of 2011 Martin Dawson can reflect back on the past few months and definitely feel satisfied. Having just started to release tracks under his own name at the beginning of 2010 – in just 12 months he has had some very successful releases and worked with some of the best labels in underground house including Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, 2020vision, Off recordings and Moodmusic. The move to work under his own name came off the back of a very fruitful career working under his alternative guise – King Roc – for which he released his debut album in 2009 to critical acclaim from the international dance music press including album of the month in DJ Mag and 10/10 by IDJ Mag. He was nominated by DJ Mag for best UK producer and best artist album 2009 along the likes of Jamie Jones and Skream. Also well known for his work as Two Armadillos with studio partner and good friend Giles Smith (secretsundaze), Martin is a producer that has the ability to steps out of the box of just one genre and can turn his talent to anything that takes his fancy... but with a deep rooted love of house this is where you will find most of his work residing. Martin will be the first to say he loves working in the studio but his passion for DJ and performing can not be questioned with an international career that has seen him playing all around the world from West and Eastern Europe to South American, Australia and most of Asia, right to the deepest parts of Russia. Support for his production in whatever alter ego also has his music being aired around the globe by some of best DJ's in the world including Laurent Garnier, Tiefschwarz, Radioslave, D'Julz, Solomon, Nick Curly and Luciano to name a few. His studio schedule in 2010 has had him working with the likes of Glimpse, Andre Crom and Catz 'n Dogz and of course his continuing relationship with Giles for Two Armadillos. The result of all of this work will really be seen in the early part of 2011 including a solo LP 'Sunday Smoking' on Moodmusic, the eagerly awaited debut Two Armadillos album and a number of collaborations.

Tomoki Tamura (Resident)

London based Dj/Producer Tomoki Tamura.
Tomoki is probably one of the most successful japanease djs in the world.
In 2004 he moved to London where he has continued to rock the floor in top venues such as Fabric,Ministry of sound and Plastic people to name but a few. He was resident dj at london's legendary club The END/AKA from 2007 until it finally closed its doors in 2009.
His own party HOLIC has quickly become one of the most important events in london, every month bringing a wide range of quality house, techno djs from around the world. His selection of guest djs are unique and always gather attention from the london club scene's main players.
Holic is not only for London, his party has got a permanent residency at Japan's top club - Womb which is now recognized as one of the best clubs on the planet. He is the main underground music ambassador between London and Japan.Tomoki’s trademark fusion of deep, tech, electro, minimal and soulful influences has won him many admirers andhe was the first ever Japanese DJ on Ministry of Sound Radio while also holding down a weekly slot on House FM. Simultaneously tough and soulful, dark and uplifting, - his style retains more than enough
depth and technique to satisfy the fussiest of house-heads without losing the sort of funk and groove that keeps the
dance floor rammed and rocking.
In 2008 his debut EP Tomoki&nono/Voices&3years(Four:Twenty) has become No 1 Chart on deep house of world biggest music store Beatport.
And after this release Satoshi Tomiie has selected his production skills, and he has signed 2 releases as Tomoki&nono from Saw recordings.
His track Lark was used for one of the most famous Mix CD's of recent times, Satoshi Tomiie's 3D(Renaissance).
In 2009 He signed his own productions to Germany's Plastic City and New York's Nite Grooves to name but a few.
Its not just an England / Japan thing either, many places in between have felt the Tomoki effect; he has guest DJ’ed atparties in Berlin, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Belarus,Greece and Turkey. With a few notable exceptions.
