MAKER + MEYER
Rob Meyer and Jon maker teamed up as a producer/DJ duo in 2008 after having met during their studies in classical music. For the past year, Maker + Meyer have built up a reputation amongst Brick Lane's day-time party crowd, and have been widely praised for the quality of their extended sets at Cafe 1001, where they currently hold a monthly residency with Ultraplay.
With the early success of their first releases on Mighty Rumble and Stylus Recordings, the duo have now taken the next step in their creative work, extending their music to playing powerful live sets.
They performed their first live show at Adam Beyer's Drumcode warehouse party in London in September 2010. This was one of London's most anticipated parties of the year, and Maker + Meyer's set was received with great acclaim. The duo now continue their work in the studio, exploring new ideas and enhancing their live performance concept through their creative production and performance processes. Maker + Meyer are now one of London's hottest up and coming live DJ acts, with regular appearances at some of London's biggest techno nights. Their innovative approach to performing means that every performance is as unique as the last.
