For quite some time now Stopmakingme has been creating quite a stir on the DJ circuit. He Daniel Avery aka (Stopmakingme) is a resident DJ for Fabric, if this wasn't enough being resident in quite possibly the biggest club night in England. He also boast being a regular spinner at Bugged Out and Erol Alkans Durrr. Sticking with Erol, shooting for the stars, Daniel was handpicked by the man himself to be apart of his Phantasy Sound label

He also co-runs the hugely successful Kill Em All club night with the Filthy Dukes, championing new music made by live bands as much as electronic artists.

Last year has seen Daniel remixing the likes of Boy 8-Bit, Filthy Dukes, Little boots, We Have Band... as well as collaborations with UK legend Justin Robertson (The Deadstock 33's) and Singleton.

2011 promises to see Daniel come into fruition with his own productions and remixes flying off the conveyor belt. Being remixed by disco giants In Flagranti to remixing My House by NYC's finest Hercules & Love Affair. Coming out on labels such as Gang Bang and Moshi Moshi.

Dan’s love for Trash, Optimo, Soulwax and older references like The Paradise Garage all come through in his DJ sets where electro and techno sit alongside updated post-punk, huge disco, mutant new wave and perfect pop choruses whilst no momentum - or any dancefloor - is lost.

This is a very busy young man set to shine this year, we welcome him to test the might of the HOLD's Funktion 1.
