For the third year running, Sónar and Cosmocaixa once again join forces to offer the Barcelona audience a sonic performance in the science museum which goes beyond the boundaries of a
conventional concert.

On this occasion, the programme contains major changes. First, it covers a single theme, “Music and birds”, examining the relationships between human ability, multimedia art and birdsong from various perspectives; and second, it is expanded to various disciplines, including sonic and audiovisual installations, live performances, concerts and talks.

The programme will include the participation of artists as renowned as Germany’s Jan Jelinek, Japan’s Sawako and the Catalan duo Roc Jiménez de Cisneros and Anna Ramos...
