Coyu is the first Spanish DJ to reach the top100 of all time most charted artists on Resident advisor. After his success with "El Baile Alemán" (produced alongside fellow partner Edu Imbernon) and being the number one track on Beatport in 2009, Coyu continued to release his music on the best labels of the moment and got full support from the biggest artists in the international scene (Sven Väth, Luciano, Richie Hawtin and Mark Knight, to name a few). Coyu keeps selecting the best new sounds with his own label SUARA, where he has released amazing stuff from artists like Uner, Affkt, Edu Imbernon, Pirupa, Hermanez, Carlo Lio and himself. This entire job has yield nominations and national & international awards.
Edu Imbernon is without a doubt one of the most promising talented artists in electronic music right now. At just 21 years of age the native Valenciano from Spain has torn up dancefloors all over the planet with his hit "El Baile Alemán". His hit, produced with Coyu, was ultimately the most sold track in 2009 and was featured in Resident Advisor's Top 100’s most charted tracks of 2009 and eventually awarded the ‘Best Underground Track’ of 2009 by Beatport. Edu is the owner of Eklektisch, his own record label which reached with its second release “Tarantula” the number one in the TOP 100 Beatport and stayed there for six whole weeks whilst currently being the most sold track in 2010.
Coyu & Edu have a very exciting year ahead of them. They recently won the Spanish Dance Award for the best track of 2010, “beautiful story” and they are currently touring North America from Miami to Toronto to spread their unique groovy tech house sound.
