THE LABEL:
Audio Parallax is a community as much as it is a label. Coupled with Parallax
Audio Records and the Audio Parallax Podcast, it acts as a creative platform
for our circle of artists and producers to release their original music and
express themselves without fear of boundaries.
Our artists are given free rein to push their own creative boundaries while
acting as teachers and pupils to their counterparts. The label is an ever-
evolving hive of ideas, with each release taking an influence from the last –
labours of love, snapshots of the soul.
We understand that genres are a thing of the past, and to move forward and create innovative and thought-provoking music we must embrace everything
that has gone before, without being restricted by the shackles of modern
pigeon-holes and media imposed genres.
We release Soul Music: past, present and future soul. Be it Nu-Disco, Deep
House or Re-Edits of 70’s Funk classics – all our releases are intrinsically
bound by the labels collective soul.

THE DJS:

MANNMADEMUSIC
Iain Mann, known to his 1100+ Soundcloud followers as MannMadeMusic,
likes making music. It says so in his alias. And the music Iain makes has a
definite feel of being hand-crafted; man made. Analyse his namesake further and you’ll see obvious links to one of his biggest influences – MoodyMann, and in turn, MoodyManc.
Iain only started producing music just over a year ago. Now he’s releasing
tracks on labels such as Editorial, Fine Art and Lumberjacks In Hell. His début release on Audio Parallax, and our first release as a label – ‘Deep Soul’ - was the track that made us decide to take the plunge and form the label. And we’re so glad we did.

NY*AK
Andrew Scott is the face behind NY*AK. He’s been DJing for longer than he
can remember, and producing music for a few years now. Listening to his
productions, you’d think he’d been around throughout the evolution of house music. Either that or the tracks themselves grew organically in a dusty studio somewhere. NY*AK’s ‘The Vulture’ is a favourite of the likes of Red Rack’em, Francis Inferno Orchestra and Marcel Vogel – and if you’ve been on the Terrace at Tokyo recently, you probably already know it…

NICK TURNER
Nick Turner needs no introduction. His productions are making waves with the likes of Jozif and Ethyl and Co, he has tracks out on Trendy Mullet Records as well as Lady Blacktronika’s new imprint, and has remixed MannMadeMusic’s forthcoming bomb ‘NotForTheMoney’. His ‘Submerged Sessions’ online radio shows are an absolute must – as are all his sets. This is Nick’s second appearance on the terrace this year, and it’s sure to be memorable.

VERY VERY
Vins IS the Tokyo Terrace. Manning the decks every Saturday and one half of Very Very with J P – Vinnie’s recent payday-parties on the terrace have been legendary.
On top of that, he’s not shy in the studio – he has edits upcoming on a very special, exclusive label – as well as tracks forthcoming on our very own APR.
