DANIEL STEINBERG (FRONTROOM-MICROFUN-GRANDPETROL-STYLEROCKETS)
Steinberg has been a familiar face in Berlin's club scene for years. He released his first 12-inch back in 2005, and has kept up a brisk pace since then, with nearly 20 singles and EPs under his belt so far. For his first long player, he stays true to his usual blueprint: punchy, minimalist club music with a lighthearted feel. Having had great success on labels such as Microfon, Grandpetrol and Stylerockets Daniel Steinberg now brings his sound to Front Room Recordings.
This is what DJ magazine says about it:
"A formidable DJ and producer of deep, stripped back club cuts and funk-dappled techno, rich in lush Brazillian percussion and half-remembered disco whispers, he's become something of a best-kept secret....
'Shut Up' is a slap in the face of the boring, funk-less loop based housers..."
Its impossible to try and define his muscial talents in such short summary so come and watch Daniel Steinberg as he prepares to unveil his groundbreaking beats, but not less dancefloor damaging elements, that enable him to to keep the party rocking.
UONE (BEEF REC. GREEN ANT. LAB. CHAMELEON. PLANETARIA REC)
UONE is one is one of the most exciting young producer/DJ’s to come out of Australia in recent years. Hailing from Melbourne. DJing locally and internationally for close to 8 years, he is signed up with BEEF records & GREEN ANT (Rainbow Serpent Festival) as label DJ and A&R representative. .... Uone is striving to DJ and make a primal brand of deep and twisted dance music. Uone draws on elements from progressive, minimal, techno, and house, being not afraid to cross genres. .... With an attitude that is constantly changing and ever eager to evolve, Uone's music remains on the underground. Uone is not that kind of artist who likes to hide behind the mixing-console performing isolated. It’s about his friendly and extroverted personality always trying to be as close as possible to the crowd constantly motivated to “rock the house” together.
