This edition of Tuna Park creates some female spirit tonight in the club. Hailing from San Francisco, the lovely Dia (from Vinyl Did It Records) sails into our ever-intelligent Tuna Park Friday, carrying some of her signature tunes that make up a very energetic dance set. The feminine mystique continues with Miz Kiara from Italy, representing the highly respectable Female Cut project and her home city of Rome. Third up is our frequent guest P.Toile, also in the Female Cut league of artists, the very focused and mult-tasking talent who sharpened her DJ skills through experiences in Paris and Tel Aviv, from French house
to techno house; while funk and soul of the seventies, her main musical roots, still can be heard in her DJ sets. The +4Bar is a hotbed of precision house music tonight from precision international DJanes. In the basement the Tresor Floor simmers with Belgian DJ Peter van Hoesen, the Brussels-based producer, DJ and founder of Time To Express, label for quality techno - think deep, minimal, gritty warehouse beats and you're close. Peter founded the outlet for deep, physical electronic music: the releases on Time To Express yearn for playback in cavernous, sweaty spaces, where throbbing bass and deep heartbeats collide. Tatjana Sünder resides in Berlin but the Austrian-born artist has made a clear imprint in the scene: she refined her technique and combined more and more different music directions to a clean, exciting vinyl set, ranging from "minimal" to Detroit to techno and shakes happy clubbers with short breaks and progressive sounds. With right-on and uncompromising techno skills from resident T.A.G., this Friday Tuna Park hones in yet again to the best of your clubbing sensibilities.
