After Kriece rocked the last Subservice with a fantastic mix of progressive and tech house, it’s time to get twisted with this month’s guest: Rollin Connection.
Rollin Connection are Darius Bassiray and Daniel Banko, two young Australian DJs and producers who are rapidly gaining recognition for their unique blend of deep, percussive, twisted sounds sounds. Breaks, techno, minimal, progressive and tech house are all represented in a Rollin Connection set, with the sounds united by a common theme: depth and twisted vibes.
They’ve rocked dancefloors in Melbourne, Sydney and Bangkok for parties such as Sunny, Private Function, Fractured, Loose Kaboose, Spice, Vinyl Nations, Volume, Future Breaks, Earthcore, and Renaissance to name just a few, and for the last three and half years have been running the hugely successful Darkbeats parties.
The duo have already supported Lee Burridge, Mathew Jonson, James Holden, James Zabiela, Clive Henry, Michael Mayer, Petter, Chris Fortier, Hybrid, Jonathan Lisle, Anthony Pappa, Hernan Cattaneo, Infusion, Phil K, Habersham & Numinous, Nubreed, Lexicon Avenue, Meat Katie, Gary Dubbs, and John Delegelis, and 2007 is looking just as busy.
Rollin Connection have also gained recognition for outstanding production work both as solo producers and as a duo, including the recently released Drive By which was remixed by Nubreed, Kaybee and Ozzie LA
The Sweetchilli DJs (Daniel Crocetti & Crispin) will be warming up for Rollin Connection, a fantastic choice given their love of the deeper sounds and their impeccable DJing ability. Ben Morris will also be in support, no doubt relishing the opportunity to show Sydney and rarely witnessed side to his musical repertoire. And of course the Subservice DJs (Andrew Wowk, Dave Nolan & Dennis Williams) will be back again.
Plus as a special treat, party goers who have been at the DJ Shadow gig will received $5 off entry to Subservice if they display their ticket stub.
