Hallo Festival Füchse!

Wir werden 5 Jahre alt!

Ja es ist schon ein Weilchen her als wir in der Härterei gestartet hatten. Damals haben wir noch für jede Party eine leere Fabrikshalle in einen Club verwandelt und danach wieder abgebaut. Diese Mühe war es wert, und genau diesen Spirit wollen wir auch für unser 5-Jähriges Festival aufleben lassen. Wir scheuen uns keine Mühen und bereiten Special Effects und Deko vor, wie ihr es von uns gewohnt seid. Wir ziehen der Alten Börse wieder ein Kostüm an, damit sich jeder vom Alltag abkoppeln und mit uns unseren Geburtstag zelebrieren kann!

Na klar, auch beim Line-Up sparen wir nicht und haben was Nettes zusammengestellt! Gleich zwei Premieren werden wir in den Fuchsbau holen. Zwei der Überflieger des letzten Jahres, die Hitproduzenten schlechthin – JAMIE JONES und ART DEPARTMENT! Jamie ist schon seit einigen Jahren auf ständigem Vormarsch, hat aber trotz seiner Wahl auf den 6. Platz der Top100 DJ’s 2010 wohl immer noch nicht seinen Peak erreicht. Denn immer wenn man denkt, dass er das nicht mehr steigern kann, legt er noch einen drauf und setzt die Messlatte für alle Anderen ein Stück höher.

Genauso den Ton angeben ART DEPARTMENT, die mit „Without You“ den unbestritten grössten Hit des letzten Jahres abgeliefert und damit einen ganz neuen Sound kreiert haben. Manche sagen, diese Platte habe die ganze Techno & House Welt auf den Kopf gestellt und neu ausgerichtet. Sie könnten damit recht haben, wenn man die Entwicklung seither verfolgt hat. Jamie Jones wie auch Art Department sind Vertreter des im Moment wohl heissesten Labels – Crosstown Rebels – alle Augen sind derzeit auf sie gerichtet. Das ist aber erst der Anfang, da kommt wohl noch einiges auf uns zu. Genauso wie dies erst der Anfang unseres Geburtstagsprogramms ist, da kommt auch noch einiges auf euch zu!

Denn ein weiteres Geschenk für euch & uns ist nieman geringeres als MAGDA, eine der grössten Zürcher Lieblinge. Wenn sie in die Stadt kommt, bringt sie alle zusammen auf den Dancefloor, der dann zum grossen Treffpunkt wird. Man braucht sie auch nicht mehr gross vorzustellen, die wohl bekannteste weibliche Vertreterin des DJ Berufs. Also lassen wir das mit den vielen Worten und kommen zu jemand, der bei unserem Jubiläum ebenfalls nicht fehlen darf.

MARKUS LINDNER hat wohl bald schon die gleichgrosse Fangemeinschaft in Zürich wie Magda, da er einfach einer der Talentiertesten überhaupt ist und mit den Superstar DJ’s unserer Zeit locker mithalten kann. Weil er nie enttäuscht, ganz im Gegenteil, er lässt alle mit Staunen zurück. Auch die österreichische Hauptstadt Wien mischt er momentan mit seinen Stadtpark Nächten so richtig auf und bei uns wird er dieses Mal den Morgen einläuten.

Aufmischen ist auch das Stichwort, wenns um ANDRI geht. Die puren Grooves und Geradlinigkeit ist nun schon über die Grenzen bekannt und inzwischen sein Markenzeichen geworden. Wer da nicht tanzt, klebt entweder fest oder ist im falschen Gebäude.

Andri ist natürlich nicht der einzige Zürcher und Local, den wir aufbieten werden. Einen Geburtstag ohne unsere 3 Lieblings- und meist gebuchten Residents zu veranstalten? Kein Thema, RINO, DEJAN und WANDLER vertreten den Fuchs seit Jahren mit ausgezeichneten Haltungsnoten und werden dies auch bei diesem feierlichen Anlass tun. Was gibt’s da noch mehr zu sagen. Glaub nur eins – wer das verpasst ist selber schuld.

Wir freuen uns sehr darauf, mit euch allen unser 5-Jähriges zu zelebrieren!

whats up birthday foxes?!

we're getting 5 years old!

It has been a while since we started out at Härterei. At that time we turned an empty warehouse into a club just for a weekend – and this on a monthly basis. you can imagine all these mondays after, when we had to take everything down again… But it was worth the effort to keep this exact spirit alive, also for our 5 years anniversary festival. You will experience our state of the art special effects as well as the obliged decoration of course the way you are used to. So again we'll put the Alte Börse Club an extraordinary costume on, prepared to dive into another world made to forget the everyday life.

Of course the line-up is pretty decent, we must admit! There will be not one, no, two premiere acts playing at the fox den. Way above the line, these names, concerning they were producing one hit after the other over the last year: JAMIE JONES and ART DEPARTMENT. Since years Jamie is ahead of the march and even he got elected 6th in the "Top 100's DJs 2010", he still hasn't reached his peak and resets the benchmark again for all the others.

Just alike are ART DEPARTMENT at stakes, who delivered with «Without You» for sure the biggest hit of last year. And along they created a whole new sound concept. People even say that they turned the scene upside down and relocated its' original structure for reals! And they could be right, concerning the way electronic music has been developed. Jamie Jones as well as Art Department are headliners of the so called hottest label Crosstown Rebels. We're only at start, remember, so there will be a lot more coming from them. Equally we'll continue our Cityfox birthday program!

Another present for you and us is no one else than Magda. She's very beloved by most of the Zürich's crowd. When she's in town she manages to locate the meeting point straight on the dancefloor. And we don't need to introduce her any further, as we all know she's the most popular female in all of the DJ business. So we just continue with someone else who can't be left out at this occasion.

MARKUS LINDNER almost has the same fan crowd as Magda because he's just one of the most talented in the scene and he always keep the pace among the superstar DJs. He never disappoints, no, he just leaves the crowd with a stunning smile on their face. He also mixes up austria's captiol city Vienna at the moment with his Stadtpark Nights. And he'll guide us this time into the morning hours at the 5 year festival!

«Mixing up» is the exactly the right key word talking about our next act ANDRI. Pure grooves as well as keeping the line straight became his trade mark for sure. That makes him well known and famous, even abroad.

Andrea is not the only Zürich local who will be playing. Celebrating a birthday without our 3 most wanted resident DJs? A true «No Go»! No doubt RINO, DEJAN and WANDLER represent the Fox since years with straight As and will be doing it also at our festivities. What shall we say more? Don't miss out on that one!
