April 2nd 2011 saw Rendezvous re-launch in style at our new home, Below Stairs/The Green Room, Hawke & Hunter.
As to be expected, Lee Foss and the Rendezvous residents created an electric atmosphere that left the up for it crowd eager to Rendezvous again...

May 7th 2011 will see Robert James (re-scheduled from January) and Russ Yallop Rendezvous-ing together for what's set to be another amazing night.

Few producers of recent years have exploded onto the underground house scene like Crosstown Rebels’ Russ Yallop. While some producers spend years finding their feet, Russ made a clear statement of intent with ‘I Can’t Wait’ his debut release on Crosstown Rebels, a solid cut of nu-school house that was charted across the board by everyone from Jamie Jones to MANDY and was featured by Heidi on her ‘In New Music We Trust’ show on BBC Radio One.

Part of a new breed of DJs, with studio skills to match, which includes his close friends Lee Foss, Richy Ahmed and Robert James, Russ Yallop’s sound is infected with warm charm and boundless energy. Fusing fun into dance music again, Russ and his UK-based peers are creating a new strain of house music that is currently taking the worldwide underground by storm,
promising bright things for the future.

Robert James is one of a new breed of artists that hail from the city of Leeds, the UK's second key stronghold of underground house and techno outside the Capital. His sound is completely unique, born from a strong sense of groove born from summers spent on the dance floor at DC10 in Ibiza and a healthy ambition to turn house music on its head. He effortlessly creates music aimed squarely at the dance floor that is distinct, infectious and appeals as much to the head and the heart as it does the feet.

For the last two years Rob has been regular fixture at clubs like The Mint Club and My House in Leeds, the Zoo Project and Space in Ibiza and the Rainbow in Birmingham. These Gigs and others have seen him play alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Layo and Bushwacka, Clive Henry and Dyed Soundorom to name a few. 2011 is set to be a big year for Robert James… get used to the name as you’ll be hearing it a lot more over the coming months.
