Give bank holiday weekend a RONG awakening as the mad for it Manchester based trance brand are back with a vengeance!

It was early this year the Ronguns first unleashed themselves on the realms of Venus instantly making a lasting impression. As a result, RONG now has its feet firmly under the table having secured a bi-monthly residency at the ever popular night spot, infusing their infectious and endearing passion for bang tidy trance onto its fellow revellers. This May RONG are back to show you the RIGHT way to kick start your bank-holiday with yet another tight bill of talent featuring more of the highflying trance elite. SO, trance pants at the ready, as they prepare to send you to the RONG side of the raving horizon and tantalise your taste buds with yet another trance-tastic prescription of tunage.

To headline the next shebang RONG welcome to their stage arguably the leading duo in trance, recently voted at no.20 in the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 poll DJ/producers Aly and Fila!. Shivers, hairs on the back of your neck, hands in the air, reaching for the lasers, losing your mind and rushing to the music are just some of the effects described by their fans when listening to the Egyptian duo in full flow on the dance floor. As an act at the forefront of the next generation of dance music superstars, theyve already broken through the worldwide clubbing spectrum. Tracks released such as, Eye of Horus, Spirit of Ka, A Dream Of Peace, Ankh Breath of Life and Thebes have earned them worldwide critical acclaim from the press and fellow artists. Couple that with their euphoric, uplifting blend of sweeping trance that has seen them rise to an A-list status alongside the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Blank & Jones, Ferry Corsten and many more; these guys have definitely got a world class formula!

Joining them and making their Manchester debut is the Dutch duo dubbed as one of Europes most established and respected dance acts having being catapulted to stardom by their debut release Airwave Rank 1! In the 9 years that have followed their burst onto the scene theyve continued to pack out the CD wallets of worlds A-list spinners with speaker-spankers that have included Such is Life, Symfo and Life Less Ordinary. Then in 2009 they unleashed L.E.D. There Be Light - a track that was quickly snapped up by ID&T as the anthem for that years Trance Energy event. Their Live and DJ sets induce floor-quakes before thousands of fans at clubs, arenas and festivals every single weekend. Over recent years, Rank 1 has increasingly come together on stage for their Live performances. They became the first live act to perform at Sensation and famously forced the closure of doors of Trance Energys main arena (when 25,000 clubbers packed it out to hear them play). Aside from that Rank 1 has continued to thrill crowds live at some Europes best-known festivals including Mystery Land, Sunrise and Nature One. Now famously reclusive, they dont like the term success as it implies they have already arrived. Instead, on the few occasions they do speak, they prefer to speak in terms of progression & perfection. Ultimately though they are far happier to let their music do all the talking.

Complementing these trance titans RONG is delighted to welcome back to their stage the ever popular RONG favourite and rapidly rising technical whizz kid of trance - Jordan Suckley! Jordan is forever on the up playing alongside some of the biggest names in the business, not to mention his string of monster productions also receiving massive support from the likes of Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery and Sander van Doorn; to name a few! Putting the finishing touches to this tight bill of talent will also be North East DJ/producer with two Armada releases firmly under his belt Chris Metcalfe; RONGs very own James Rigby; and Garuda resident Adam Flexer.

Finally, the ever faithful RONG DJs Morriarty and MoneyPenny will be taking control of room two as they once again present a selection of the best local and up-and-coming talent from across the North West, representing the likes of Goodgreef, Digital Society and Off the Rails (OTR); to name a few.
With yet another credible cutting-edge line-up, an ever friendly trance infused aura, and the usual selection of drinks promos on all night; its definitely RIGHT to be RONG May Bank Holiday!
