DECKSAVERS turns it up a notch and ventures to pastures new at The Russian Bar in Dalston!

We are totally looking forward to smashing it up in this new venue, and to capitalize on their awesome sound and visuals we have someone very, very special to hang it all out to dry for the DECKSAVERS disciples...

GLIMPSE!!!

Prolific and fearless, tireless and imaginative – taking only his work in the past twelve months into account, Glimpse demonstrated a quality of work and range which only a few can be said to have matched.

World renowned labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Planet E, Cadenza, Cocoon, Get Physical and Buzzin Fly are just a handful of those to have released his music. A particular milestone was his Crosstown Rebels album ‘Runner’, released in May 2010 and was a standout LP even for a label noted for its consistent excellence. Ending up being both a critical and commercial success in what was newly a more house orientated style ‘Runner’ was the peak in the year which saw Glimpse received a second consecutive nomination in DJ Magazine’s ‘Best British Producer’ award.

Not that recognition was to be purely domestic, as the accompanying live tour took him to the cutting edge of the international underground club scene. Full tours of Asia and North America took him to Womb in Tokyo, Panorama Bar, Tenax, Fabric, Chicago’s Smart Bar, Cocoon and Café D’Anvers. As awareness of an exciting, breakthrough talent grew, Glimpse found himself with a string of dates in the beating epicentre that is Ibiza and in October 2010 was given the honour of playing the last set of the night in the Flight Area (car park) at Space Ibiza’s Closing Fiesta and, in doing so, joining an elite group which includes some of the biggest names in the history of dance music. This achievement, so early in his career, is impossible to overstate.

Residents Jack Brazzo and Deegan have long been inspired by Glimpse's work and are delighted to have him alongside them Russian Bar, creating a memorable experience that now is standard for a DECKSAVERS party. We also welcome Sergio Liguori aka W10 driving his thriving live set that took apart East Village and the Ministry recently. and another Gaunt St favourite, Daniel Mielowski will be making his DECKSAVERS debut along with Luca Schiavoni fresh from slamming the crowds alongside Phonica's leading lady Anthea!! We really can't wait for this one!!
