Some weird cultish dudes are predicting the world will end on May 21st. So it may not be coming from the most credible source, but it could be a good excuse to party like it's our last night on Earth! My Cousin Roy, head honcho of The Wurst Music Co., is hitting Sydney on this night for a mammoth party at The Civic! We're teaming up with our good buddies at Adult Disco for a night of serious leg shaking worthy of seeing in the apocalypse.
He's run parties and cooked up productions with NYC buddy Brennan Green; his edits have been championed by disco legends such as DJ Harvey, Horse Meat Disco and Mark E; his record label The Wurst Music Co. has been releasing gem after gem, like Brennan Green's "My First House" and Neutoric Drum Band's "Robotic Hypnotic Adventure"; his DJ mixes always get the beards and the babes raving; and as the cherry on top, his rub of Bibi Tanga & The Selenties' "Be Africa" made its way onto Tim Sweeney's Best of 2010 list. My Cousin Roy is just plain awesome.
With local support from Marcus King, Dave Slade, Mirror Mirror and Andy Webb, where else would you rather be for the grand finale?
Here's a pretty spectacular Beg To Differ DJ mix
