Reminiscing on the music of previous decades has been a popular past time for many years. Going out and dancing to the retro faves of years gone by has rapidly become THE clubbing choice for many bright young things across the Capital. That euphoric sense of nostalgia you get from hearing your favourite tunes, often from the era when you first started going out clubbing, nothing can beat that feeling. Whether it’s a yearning for happier, younger more carefree times, or maybe the music was simply better back then, either way, the retro music night is firmly entrenched in our most loved nights out. Progressing on from the timeframe of the huge success of clubs like Ultimate Power and White Wedding, ONE MORE TIME! has bought the same glorious magic to south of the river.

ONE MORE TIME ! is a brand new Friday night celebrating the best of the brilliant music from the Nineties, through to the Noughties and now. ONE MORE TIME! delivers “as much Glee as Jay Z” with a tuneful journey through classic house, pop, hip-hop and forgotten gems of the last two decades.

The Clapham Grand is a beautiful venue, ( “the sumptuous light up dancefloor boasting Clapham Grand” says The Guardian ) held in warm affection in the social buzz that is modern Clapham and Battersea and surrounding areas . It can be likened to “a Koko of the South” , with its wonderfully ornate reconstructed theatre setting, its suitably retro LED dancefloor (a unique rarity these days and the UK’s largest), and all the tech specs required of a modern club, including Europe’s largest video screen perfect for the nights VJ wizardry which cleverly uses the iconic music videos of the last 20 years.

The music each Friday is provided by a selection of London’s best party starters on rotation, including Dan Hayes (Amersham Arms / various), Max Raymond (Plump DJ’s tour / Old Queens Head) and various guest DJ’s dropping in along the way.

So if you like your “Glee to Jay Z” with a healthy sprinkling of Daft Punk this a great night out with an up-for-it friendly crowd with a passion for the joys of music. Just polish your dancing shoes, tune up those vocal chords, and revisit your old killer moves..
