One Big Room Party!!
The Paris based DJ & producer Paul Ritch came to prominence in 2007 following the release of his remarkable first EP, Samba, which was succeeded by a deluge of astonishing productions including remixes for the likes of Adam Beyer, Shonky, Ellen Alien and, of course, a re-working of the monumental ‘Positive Education’ by SLAM.
In whatever spare time he has left, Ritch dedicates it to his Quartz Rec label, established in 2008, to further promote his unique and visceral sound. He has managed to create an exceptional blend of agile minimal techno, which is both rhythmic and penetrating, and charged with adrenaline. It comes as no surprise then that his work has been championed by some of the biggest names around with Richie Hawtin, Gui Boratto, and M.A.N.D.Y all regularly dropping his work into their live sets.
Since dominating both Sub Club and the Arches in recent years, Ritch has been busy honing his craft around the globe, notably at the Berghain (Berlin), Rex Club (Paris), and Cocoon Club (Frankfurt). We are hugely excited to have him back in Glasgow, making the sweat drip once again in the cavernous depths of The Arches.
