Very simply, it’s called The Beach Party. But don’t let the basic name fool you; there’s more going on than hustling through the sand at the little beach in Long Island City. This Saturday night Sasha Crnobrnja, one half of cut-and-paste duo In Flagranti, takes to the decks armed with a cache of personalized edits. With residents Justin Carter, Probus and the Brothers' Brothers dropping everything from house to hip hop to techno to funk, everyone will be able to find a reason to dance-as if the weather and the beach weren't enough.
