Los Bastardo's Bio
The Bastardo Brothers cut their teeth on the London club scene in the mid 1990's putting on infamous nights such as Too Damn Cheeky & Later Funky Personality. Their style back then was Funky Jazzy House mixed with raw 70's Funk & Latin Jazz Always Looking to put a new spin on what ever was going on with music at that time they put great emphasis on production, visual arts, live musicians and it was only a matter of time before Don Bastardo infamous percussionist joined the ranks. After about a decade of decadent and frankly mischievous antics at The Cross - Hanover Grand - Heaven - Ministry etc many of which are sadly no more R.I.P The guys sadly went their separate ways. Don went to south America to drink absinthe and jam with the locals further honing his percussion skills. Lee went into music production. Des spent time developing his VJ skills. 4 years later in 2009 the 3 were individually asked to perform once again as a favor for a mutual friend. Arriving separately and very surprised to see each other. They decided to join forces once again for one last time, after their set the 3 were immediately booked by the venue and another infamous monthly party was born! Los Bastardos featuring the Bastardo Brothers! @ The Sunrooms Los Bastardos now bring their quality product and fresh, exciting, excellent electro & original swing sounds to the Horatio London and launch yet another infamous monthly party, that is sure to be etched as happy memories in the minds of the party folk of Islington and beyond.
