Known today as the coolest underground house & techno label on the planet, headed up by master rebel and long term party starter Damian Lazarus, Crosstown has had a huge series of releases since its inception in 2003 with a number of high profile artists including Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Visionquest and Damian respectively. Thriving on a “f*ck you” mentality towards purists for the rebels it’s all about finding new, alternative sounds and young artists armed with something to say… and they say it very well.

For this show they come equipped with an amazing line-up featuring the head honcho himself Damian Lazarus who makes his South Coast debut – we can’t think of anyone better equipped to bring the party to Junk.

Alongside Damian comes 2011’s super, groovey, acid techno sensational duo Art Department whose “Without You” become the hit record of 2010 and was voted 2nd in Mixmag’s top 100 dance tunes of last year. Meanwhile their “Drawing Board” LP (Mixmag album of the month) is currently receiving rave reviews by fans and critics alike across the forums, blogs and clubbing websites.

Further support comes from South coast born and recently signed rebel Russ Yallop. Part of the new breed of DJs, with studio skills to match his “I can’t wait” and “Rock Me” tracks, two solid cuts of nu-school house, were featured by Radio 1’s Heidi on her In New DJs We Trust show and were picked up by DJs Jamie Jones and Lee Foss. With new productions popping up on across the web receiving huge praise and much demand, 2011 looks to be a blossoming year for Russ.
