*** UPDATE - Blondes (Live) & Kiwi have just been added to the lineup. Special £4 advance tickets available only on RA!! ***
Streets Of Beige are taking a months leave from their regular haunt to get down in the depths of the renewed Rhythm Factory. With a 6am license and artists spanning seminal labels Merok, Hotflush, Rush Hour, Brownswood and Hotep, this is an unmissable summer excursion after our blazing warehouse bash.
Blondes are the psychedelic NY synth duo who combine house and electronic sensibilities to devastating effect. Having been invited back to Europe to play Space in Ibiza, we've snagged them for a one-off full-analogue live show full of their heavily revered works for Merok and RVNG INTL Lando Kal of Lazer Sword fame finally dropped his new EP on Scuba's Hotflush to mass critical acclaim and will be bringing his sub-loaded, West Coast-tinged sound to the Rhythm Factory. Having already released a split on Numbers and a forthcoming Rush Hour release in the works, Lando is set to be one of 2011's fastest rising stars. Mau'lin made an impact after his heavyweight Hotep EP shredded dancefloors and stereos alike so expect plenty of noise in tow. Then we have an all-exclusive set from Gang Colours, whose new EP on Brownswood has gotten the hype machine into overdrive. Then we finally managed to snag Kiwi, a local disco and slo-house don responsible for some of the most forward thinking music in the capital, and a recent string of edits and remixes that signal there are even greater things to come. And Canadian-born Soosh will be swilling his tender noise-plays in with some of his favourite riddims to smooth everyone into the night as an unofficial launch to his new EP on Jumble/Alpha Pup.
