We would like to welcome you to the launch of Realism. We begin our journey on Saturday 20th August 2011 at the new intimate hot spot in Shoreditch, Basing House.
For our first edition we would like to welcome..
Huxley (Tsuba/Cécille) and Ethyl (Quintessentials/Cécille)
Both of these highly talented producers burst onto the scene back in 2009 with the “Sassanids EP” which was released on Nick Curly’s brilliant Cecille Numbers label.
Shortly after, “The White EP” on Tsuba sent the pair chugging rapidly up the house pile. 'Mother Tongue' spent 5 weeks on the Beatport Deep House chart and was nominated for Beatports Top Deep House Of 2010.
Huxley can be regularly seen in the Beatport Deep House charts with tracks released on highly respected labels such as OFF, Tsuba and Fear Of Flying while Ethyl is highly in demand from the UK and across Europe for his tightly programmed, smoothly mixed sets which have already seen him share bills with Ame and join a select group of DJs to have represented at London’s secretsundaze.
Achieving so much in such a short space of time we can only assume this pair will continue to push themselves further and share with the world their vision of House music.
Also sharing the bill on our debut night to keep the vibes rolling we have Detail resident Oli Forster and Mimo Music’s / Realism resident Scott Kemp.
