It's that time of year again for another of those Epic Horse & Groom Bank holiday parties and after a packed May bank holiday bash Discovery teams up once again with Emmanuelle Party Bucket for a very special Carnival party and as this one is the last of the year you know what to expect with a bumber 6am finish, all three rooms open and the Horse & Groom even laying on a BBQ! The venue has a great reputation over the last few years for thowing epic Carnival Bank holiday parties with the likes of Jamie Jones, Pete Herbert playing and the likes of Metro Area & Greg Wilson playing suprise sets along the way and this one looks a humdinger with acts flying from Portugal & Barcelona to join in the fun with the 3 party crews.

Downstairs we welcome Humberto Matias aka Social Disco Club who will be joining the Discovery Disco camp downstairs where he will be playing a exclusive London show alongside Discovery residents Neil Thornton & Dave Rose and friends. Social Disco Club is one of the leading new players on the current disco scene. A long term DJ, SDC has turned his hands to editing, remixing and original production with great success over the last few years. To the extent that he now includes the likes of Greg Wilson and Dimitri From Paris amongst his growing legions of fans. SDC releases have graced labels such as Disco Deviance, Mindless Boogie, Bearfunk and American Standard as well as his own imprint Hands of Time. Now a globally in demand DJ he travels the world pushing his very own definition of disco and house music.

While upstairs Emmanuelle's Party Bucket returns to host the upstairs of Horse & Groom after a packed out party with Robert James (Hot Creations) back in May for this one they welcome Sishi Roesch & Miguel Puente whom together play as Puente & Roesch. Sishi Roesch is owner, resident DJ & producer for Barcelona based label & party, Digital Delight. Together as Puente & Rosch they have been making waves with productions for Johnny Whites No.19 imprint & one pending for Gadi Mizrahi's sister label to Wolf + Lamb , Double Standard. Not to mention both of their numerous releases on Sishi's own labels (Digital Delight/Sultry Vibes) well worth a search through the archives. Alongside Mr Roesch & Miguel Puente we have Emmanuelle's favourite Frenchy well known for his solid groove laden sets up and down the country at places like Back to Basics, Below & for his radio "Throwing Shapes" show with basics buddy Tristan Da Cuhna. To complete the line up is hosts & residents Death on the Balcony, fresh back from their tour of USA with pending releases on Silver Network, Culprit, Pets & Airdrop you can be sure to hear a fresh & explorative mix of sounds along with those beloved classics that hold that place in all our hearts & minds.. Death on the Balcony -DOTB's DJ diary sees them play at some of the best spots in the world alongside the likes of Moodymann, Dyed Soundorom, Jamie Jones, Jacques Renault and many more. Based in Leeds & regulars in London they run their own club nights Throwback (Leeds) & Emmanuelle's Party Bucket at the infamous Horse&Groom in Shoreditch. Throwback & The Party Bucket are currently popular nights in the cities and recent guests have included Soul Clap, Craig Smith, Pete Herbert, The Revenge and Mark E who are yet more artists that fully support Death on the Balcony in all that they do.Their release schedule is planned out until summer with DOTB releasing with the likes of Catz n Dogz label Pets Recordings, Jef K's Silver Network, Airdrop, Akbal Music, ISM & Illusion + a forthcoming release on their own imprint Magicbag Music.
