Talking At Me continues to bring you the best live acts and DJs in electronica and new club music every month from uk funky and dubstep through to house, techno, garage and broken beats. 2011 has already seen Ben Westbeech (aka Breach), Funkineven, Throwing Snow, PhOtOmachine, Alex Greenmoney, Raf Daddy, Elgato, Troumaca, Circle Traps, Lixo, Son of Kick and more..

The live act this month is a legendary soul singer embracing cutting-edge styles and on the decks the focus is on emerging producer/ DJs who have really impressed us recently. Keep an eye on August 12 too as we'll be delivering a live special featuring Disclosure and Ink Project.

Celectrixx - N'dea Davenport rose to international fame as main vocalist for The Brand New Heavies and has worked with many of the music world's top acts, including Guru's Jazzmatazz, Mark Ronson and Robbie Williams and Sly & Robbie. She is currently touring Europe showcasing Celectrixx - a new electronic collaboration with the renowned Tokyo-based producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Katsuya. Don't miss this opportunity to hear them present their new sound - expect dub rhythms and electronic beats infused with dark soul.

PhOtOmachine is an upcoming producer and dj whose sound spans across forward-looking UK house, techno, electronica and 2-step. He's already made a name for himself with a remix of El-B's massive 'I Feel', his successful 'Technicolour' EP and DJing for Ninja Tune. He absolutely rocked the place when he played for us in February so we couldn't wait to get him back for more!

Guy Andrews is another producer/DJ on the rise. Although he's just recently got into the production game, his tracks are already receiving support on Rinse FM and soon he'll be releasing his debut EP 'Your Notion' on Discobelle's label.
