Breakbeat and Drum n Bass are hugely popular in Sydney and we believe that there is not enough variety on the nightclub scene to cater for this demand. The success of the first Drum[&]Breaks proved beyond doubt that these two genres are here to stay. We had over 500 people through the door at the Burdekin and we enjoyed a great atmosphere, friendly crowd and… of course… great quality music – thumping Drum n Bass upstairs and quality Breakbeat downstairs… Our DJs kept both dance floors bouncing til the early hours of the morning. Thanks for all your friend requests on myspace and judging from the online forums we know that you have missed us… So Drum[&]Breaks is set to return to the Burdekin on 18th August.

Once again we seek to pack the place with a HUGE night of the funky sides of Breakbeat and Drum n Bass. Enhanced Sound System We will bring in additional PA systems to create a superior sound in both rooms, and we promise you will notice the difference!! The night is designed especially to bring you a party that is unique in Sydney – two popular but neglected styles which combine to bring like-minded people together for a night out with a difference! Fun and Funky Drum and Breaks Move your arse to the fun and funky electro breaks in the Mini Bar. This time DJ Kemuri headlines alongside our resident DJs Jby and Dirty D. Or if DnB is what you came for, head upstairs to the Viper Room and lose yourself amongst the thumping but soulful drum n bass, featuring Ritual, Ludo vs Shuey and i-dub. The cream of Sydney’s Drum n Bass DJs who hyped you all up so much last time. Come and be a part of what is fast becoming the definitive night for the two breakbeat genres in Sydney.
