This Saturday we bring a balearic feel to occasions as we celebrate the hedonistic white isle of Ibiza! Having been a haven for hippies for many years, the island was discovered by 3 British tourists back in 1987 (namely Danny Rampling, Paul Oakenfold & Trevor Fung) who were taken aback by the care free spirit and free love, captured in the terrace of Amnesia by Alfredo. On their return they introduced the UK to this wonderful feeling, bringing about the creation of acid house.

Over 20 years on and although the island has become much more commercialised, the spirit is still strong, pulling ravers from across the globe every single year!!

Tonight we look back at the music that has inspired so many DJs, producers & party goers, as well as taking a nod to the future. On the decks will be resident Boulé (High Tide), who spent a season working in Ibiza back in 2007 and djing at bars such as Orange Corner, Bay Bar, & Viva.

Joining him for a special guest appearance is Ridney who currently holds a residency at Hush, the number 1 club on the West End strip.

Over the last couple of years Ridney has had huge success alongside production partner James Talk, with 3 'Essential New Tunes' on Pete Tongs Radio 1 show. This has led to him being snapped up by Defected Records, and regular appearances at iconic London superclub Ministry Of Sound.
With his residency for Hush in Ibiza, forthcoming gigs for Azuli & Sankeys plus a number of appearances at Eden last year for Pete Tongs Wonderland night, there's no one better qualified to take you through an Ibizan musical history.
