Treasure Fingers (Fool's Gold, Defected)-
For the past few years, the DJ and producer born Ashley Jones has been making it rain in the disco with innovative remixes and original tracks. Jones is far from a new jack, having racked up over a decade of international club experience and studio chops as part of the legendary drum & bass group, Evol Intent. Yet as Treasure Fingers, he’s found a way to merge his diverse influences and deep history into a signature sound, packed with intricate basslines, chopped-up, gritty synth melodies, and party-ready drum breaks. It’s already captured the ears of everyone from rock groups Snowden and Miike Snow to house legends Romanthony and Roy Davis Jr (all of whom personally requested the Treasure Fingers remix treatment).
“Cross The Dancefloor” was Treasure Fingers’ Fool’s Gold debut, an inescapably catchy, vocoder-laced dance gem that two-steps over genre boundaries. The instant classic received support from A- List DJs around the world. TF has kept the momentum going with heavy touring and official remixes for numerous artists including Little Boots, Chromeo, Estelle, Empire of the Sun, Kid Sister, and many more. He continues to tour around the globe and prep new original releases sure to keep fans shaking across the dancefloor for years to come. What else would you expect from A-Town’s original golden boy?
Electric City (Nurvous Records, Throne Of Blood)-
This duo is made up of Mark Verbos and Mark Palgy aka Saarid.
Verbos has been a staple of dance music for almost 20 years and he isn't even close to 40. He was playing raves in the Mid-West before he could even drive. Mark is an in demand engineer and has worked with many legends including Farley Jackmaster Funk. He is also a leading authority on modular synthesizers being the only person designing Buchla parts (one of the rarest synths in the world). He has produced and remixed many artist, most notably Tommie Sunshine who he has done over 120 songs with.
Mark Palgy aka Saarid has been making music for years and doesn't seem like he is slowing down. Along with Craig Pfunder he is VHS or BETA, the amazing dance rock band. He also has released as Saarid on Nurvous and has a forthcoming EP on James F@#%# Friedman and The Rapture's label Throne Of Blood. With Verbos they are now producing the upcoming Hussle Club album and working with other artists all the time. This is a duo to watch out for in the near future.
Gavin Royce (Nurvous Records, Dither Down)-
He wants to rule the world (or at least house music) at some point in his life. Goodluck.
