Animals Dancing presents Tiger & Woods at the Mercat Basement on the 21st of October.

It is said that Larry Tiger and David Woods met in an Italian record store when the two men got into a fight over a super rare boogie record. The two producers whose names are not Larry Tiger and David Woods decided to split the record and head to the studio.

Since their first ‘Hole In One’ EP in 2009, not much has been given away about the mysterious Tiger & Woods. Opting for anonymity, the duo have let their sampling, editing and production skills be the point of focus, releasing two high quality vinyl only EPs each year on their Editainment label.

These mystifying records that combined re-edited, and remixed samples, loops and over-dubs of original production caught the ears of DJs the world over, especially Gerd Janson, who decided to officially release their ‘Through the Green’ Album and ‘Gin Nation’ sampler EP on his coveted Running Back label earlier this year.
