CHRISTIANBRUNA (Camouflage, Liquid Brilliants)

A true native New Yorker, Christian was born, raised, and educated in NYC. In the Fall of 1991 he got his start in the Electronic Dance Music scene at the early age of 16 attending Future Shock Friday's at Limelight, and shortly there after N.A.S.A. at the legendary Club Shelter. As one of the first street promoters of the infamous N.A.S.A. party's he helped kick start the beginning of a new era in dance music. With the earnings he made from promoting, Christian invested in building a record collection ranging from House, Techno, and Trance, as well as Breakbeat, Hardcore, and Jungle - representing the gamut of music of the rave scene at that time. He then began feverishly learning how to DJ and getting his first gigs behind the ones and twos.

Meanwhile in those formative years he was also a champion skateboarder winning local contests and skating with some of today's top pros. Additionally, "CBee" (Christian's alias/tag) was also a recognized graffiti writer/artist regarded by many as one of the most original to come out of Queens within that era. In 1994 CB earned 15 minutes of fame when he became part of the original cast in the cult classic film KIDS (look for him in the Nitrous scene). Shortly thereafter, Christian looking to get more involved in the music industry began working at the notorious Satellite Records for many years, as well as Temple records downstairs from the infamous Liquid Sky.

In the summer of 1995 Christian became a regular guest dj at local raves, outlaw parties and premiere EDM club nights throughout NYC and the Tri-State area. Soon he was accepted into the ranks of NYC's elite and most sought after Drum & Bass Rave DJs. Performing at parties both locally and out-of-state at the tender age of 19, he accomplished what many still dream of today. Since then he has performed at countless events from coast to coast and played for nearly every major promoter and club in NYC. His 16 year dj career has taken him to many venues throughout the United States, and internationally to Buenos Aires, London, Montreal, and many more. He has also DJ'ed in some of NYC's most legendary clubs and spaces such as: Club Shelter, Guernica, Hammerstein Ballroom, Knitting Factory, Limelight, Octagon, Palladium, Randalls Island, Roseland Ballroom, Roxy, Save The Robots, Tunnel, and Twilo amongst others.

In 1997 at 21 years of age Christian created perhaps what he is mostly known for today; NYC's longest running 21+ weekly Drum & Bass party called Camouflage, which celebrated its 14 year anniversary last March. Christian is also the only D&B DJ in NYC to hold a weekly residency for over fourteen years which of course is in conjunction with Camouflage. As the man responsible for the inception of this weekly, he has been a key figure in the development of the NYC D&B scene since the early days. He's kept the original Camouflage vibe alive through thick-and-thin despite the difficulties involved in keeping any weekly going in NYC and especially since this party is held on a Tuesday night!

He is a highly respected and talented dj who is diverse, quick, and full of surprises each time he spins. His cutting edge selection ranges all across the board covering the whole spectrum of Drum & Bass. Whether it be minimal or soulful, jumpy or techy. You can catch him every Tuesday in NYC playing accordingly to any given time-slot. Last, but not least. Slightly over three years ago Christian began to produce on his own and came out with his first release in December of 2009 . "Imagine That" is out now on a Russian digital label called Liquid Brilliants. It managed to reach #77 in Beatport's Top 100 D&B Downloads. A feat very few artists manage to achieve with their first release. His follow up called "Soul Train (feat. Kech Rec)" also on Liquid Brilliants was included in Beatport Chart's - 10 Must Hear Drum & Bass Tracks - Week 17 (21.04.2011). His tunes have been played on shows and podcasts by artists from all over the world.

RAWQ (Bingo, Grid, Influence, Driven AM, Camouflage OG)

Raw Q (aka: Dj Beau) is one of NYC's original pioneers of Drum 'n' Bass and electronic music. As a born and raised native of NYC's East Village, Beau has been dj'ing underground clubs and raves in NYC, the USA and Puerto Rico for over 13 years and counting. His resume as a dj/producer is a veritable timeline of many of the most significant parties and events of the NYC/US electronic music culture. Whether it's from his beginnings as an original Liquid Sky and Satellite Records dj (circa '95) to his current status as one of DJ Zinc's Bingo Allstars, Beau has been a truely devoted contributor to underground electronic music and rave culture since the early days.

Throughout his years as a performer and respected dj, Beau has been selected as the opener for such high profile artists as: Fabio and Grooverider, Planet of the Drums, Marcus Intalex, Calibre, Klute and has shared the bill with the likes of LTJ Bukem, Shy-Fx, Bad Company, DJ Craze and many more. He is currently a resident of Direct Drive and performs regularly as a special guest at NYC's longest running 21+ weekly dnb night, Camouflage.

Beau is also well known for his original music production. In 95' he teamed up with Dj Ani (NASA, Deee-Lite) and created a series of tunes which appeared on Dj Soulslinger's Jungle Sky imprint (the first US Drum 'n' Bass Label). In 2003 Beau transformed into Raw Q. As Raw Q, his music has had a major impact in the world of electronic music with tunes such as 'Vital Soul' which appeared on Dj Zinc's reputable Bingo imprint and was ranked 11th in the BBC's Global Dance Music charts (jul.13.04), which encompasses all forms of dance music. With tunes such as Vital Soul, Caspian Moon, Summer Rain and Jagged Edge, Raw Q's music has been embraced by such legendary artists as LTJ Bukem, Fabio, Roni Size, Marcus Intalex, Marky, Zinc, Bryan Gee, Bailey, DJ Flight and countless others.

Beau's goal as an artist and musician is to provide inspiring, forward thinking, positive music for as many open minded people as possible. Beau is aware that music is a powerful tool for unity and positive change, and an vitally essential form of communication.

9X (Automatik, Camouflage OG)

Victor Martinez also known to many as DJ 9X is a true veteran with 20+ years of dj'ing experience under his belt. In his 17 years of Drum and Bass he has played amongst some of the best dj's and performers from the U.S and globally. He has been ripping dance floors with his unique style of Drum and Bass since the early rave days and has become a staple in the progression of the New York City Drum and Bass scene. He has been associated with such prestige organizations like U-Buzzin, Konkrete Jungle, Stuck On Earth, Camouflage, and Satellite Records. His ability to adapt and be open minded towards music and life has given him an edge to stand in a league of his own.

MATTRISSI (Solar Cathedral, Midwest Techno) NYC Debut!

One of Iowa's cornerstone techno promoters, producers, deejays & iconic inspirators responsible for exposing this music that we all love so much to those that now absolutely NEED to hear it. For over 14 years Matt Rissi has been hosting some of the world's greatest artists with the sole intent of fueling a passion for groove that he embraces with 100% conviction & dedication. Locally, he’s at the forefront of a movement, leading with torch in hand… Nationally, he takes to a bigger stage with the means to completely steal the show.

Over the course of his promoting career he’s developed his own rendition of a DJ performance that has become unparalleled by the vast majority. His fierce presence behind a mixer has led to his domination of performance line ups while devastating the hundreds of dance floors he’s met face to face. His malicious attempts to captivate crowds through technical & explosive mixing techniques have granted him the ability to engage even the most timid of audiences. A record collection of over 10,000 pieces of vinyl paints a detailed story about where he’s been musically since the beginning of his pulsating addiction.

Now armed with the capabilities of the most cutting edge DJ equipment & software to date he is able to take screaming crowds on a journey that is not limited to boundaries or restrictions. On the fly remixing, splicing, editing & looping allow his performances to possess an expanding capacity of erotic color & you can bet that you’re going to experience a unique set built for the moment every time you see him play. This is and will continue to be the reason that he’s earned the respect of various globetrotting talents while being invited all over the country to rock stages alongside some of the most hard hitting techno players on the planet.

As a producer, his original tracks & remixes have seen signings & licensing deals on international imprints while his ear for a unique & moving sound has extended the same opportunity that he’s had himself to artists old & new via the 19 releases he’s put out on his own Solar Cathedral Recordings record label. His initial debut release on Chicago’s Zuvuya Recordings with partner & good friend Mustafa Avdic led to a spotlight on MusicMan’s ‘I Love Techno 2007’ compilation mixed by none other than the legendary Dave Clarke, while Dustin Zahn featured his own rework of their ‘Them Crocks’ stormer on an Enemy Recordings remix EP, kick starting his production career in a way that most can only dream of. His original tunes have been receiving plays & support from all corners of the world while being hammered in front of some of the most well versed techno aficionados on the floor. While DJ’ing is Matt’s strong suit, he plans to accelerate his studio efforts in hopes of releasing more original music over the course of the upcoming years. Until then he will continue to shake venues with the force of a 10 ton bulldozer without ever looking back…

KECHREC (Camouflage OG, Liquid Brilliants)

DJ Kech, Stuck On Earth's original DJ has been a crowd favorite for years and was considered one of the cities top Jungle/Drum & Bass DJ's. Well known and respected he has traveled and performed in many states, not to mention countless amounts of events in his hometown. His Reggae, Hip-hop and R&B influences show through in every set he plays. This along with smooth and fast mixing skills as well as his extensive collection makes him one of the circuits most consistent and in demand underground DJ's. Kech, the original DJ of famed NYC promoters Stuck On Earth has been a crowd favorite for over 14 years and counting.

TOMMYETZI (Camo-Tech)

Tommy Etzi coming from the rust belt city, Pittsburgh, PA. Then moving to Brooklyn, New York in the nineties. Networking and building relations, Tommy gained early status in the competitive metropolitan dj circuit. Playing a tech-house, melodic sound while pushing the most cutting edge electronic dance music made him a crowd favorite. Having an open mind and a creative passion pushes his talents. Being a 3D artist, studying and taking piano, Tommy is working hard on expressing his art through versatile mediums with computer graphics, illustration, apparel, and music production...

The Half Moon is a 200-capacity boat docked at Skyport Marina (23rd Street & the East River). It is a 2-level boat with a full bar and bathrooms on the lower level. The dj's play on both the upper level and lower level. There is also a large open deck on the upper level where smoking is permitted as you enjoy panoramic views of the city and beyond.

Departing from 23rd Street and FDR Drive The Half Moon heads south along the East River and passes underneath the 3 major bridges (Williamsburg, Manhattan and Brooklyn). Then cruises through New York harbor to the Statue of Liberty, which it circles for approximately 30 minutes. It then turns around and makes the same trip again in reverse. The experience of watching the bridges pass overhead while great dj's are rocking 20 feet away is not to be missed!
