After a packed summer of appearances at festivals at the likes of Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party and the Big Chill the Movimientos crew herald their appearance on the Glorious Backstage Arts and Urgent Union float at Notting Hill Carnival (alongside esteemed guests The Heatwave and Havana Cultura's Vince Vella) with a special carnival themed edition of Muevete. Joining resident Cal Jader on the decks will be head honcho of the Urgent Union soundsystem Andru Lorenzo plus carnival dancers from the Glorious Backstage Arts collective hosting the float.

Fast becoming a favourite for the Saturday night crowds in West London, the monthly fiesta Mu?vete is the pure party version of their sister live music night Movimientos with a dancefloor slammin' mash up of raw Latin beats and tropical bass. From salsa and cumbia to dancehall, baile funk, moombahton and dutty carnival rhythms. This month you'll be likely to hear an extra splash of Soca, Reggae and Caribbean flavours to celebrate West London's biggest cultural event.
