DJ Nuts is Brazil's turntablist champion and greatest Hip Hop DJ! As a producer he has worked on albums for the biggest name in Brazilian hip hop, Marcelo D2, and has also worked with Brazilian music legends Gilberto Gil, Planet Hemp, João Donato, Trio Mocotó, O Rappa and Dom Um Romão. He was the main Brazilian consultant and DJ alongside Cut Chemist, J-Rocc, Madlib in São Paulo f...or B+'s "Brasilintime: Batucada com Discos" (Mochilla). "Cultura Copia" was released in 2004 as DJ Nuts' first commercially available Mix CD outside of Brazil with 54 tracks cut, mixed and blended to perfection showcasing a range of styles. "It is the perfect introduction to Brazilian music for those who have never experienced its diversity or for those who think they have but have never heard a Brazilian perspective." He has since released a 78 minute mix of compositions and arrangements by his long time friend Arthur Verocai. His skills matched with the depth of his crates make him unique in his home country and worldwide.
