Only Our Best Friends and Melange are very excited to extend this invitation to what will be a very special event. With a focus firmly on the dance floor we have hand picked a couple of our favourite DJ’s and are giving them full licence to push the boundary’s and show us all how its done.

Dave Congreve has been running parties and ruling dance floors since the early 90’s. His residency at Nottingham’s drop the bomb created quite a reputation and he has hosted and played alongside all the big names. Since day one he has been developing his own unique vision, blurring the boundaries of house, techno and electronic music – and that’s why we like him! More recently Dave has turned to the studio as one half of repeat repeat remixing for Andrew Weatherall and producing “demented machine funk” and “deep, undulating, minimal techno” which he dispenses to a regularly packed house at his ‘Dig Your Own Rave’ residency on Sundays at the T bar in London.

Mat Carter similarly has his roots in underground house music and is no stranger to working a dance floor with his unique dubby, glitchy brand of techno that always manages to suck you in and make you move. With a string of legendary residences and releases on his own label Varial records Mat is a force to be reckoned with.

Both of these guys are regulars on the decks at Fabric and rock parties left right and centre. The beauty though is that they stick to their guns, are fiercely passionate about the music, play what they love and are promising us something special.

The sound of both these boys is one that Oobf resident Stuart Dun has been championing for a long long time and naturally he will be joining them on the night for your aural pleasure. We also welcome along Ash Seaborne of 3partsand for his OOBF debut to round off a line up that will ensure you are glued to the speakers all night long.

We are keeping tight lipped about the venue until much closer to the time, but it is East, will be easy to get to, and you know we’ll be throwing all the bells and whistles at it to make it just that little bit special.

Come and join us for warm up drinks at Melange on Kingsland Rd (next block up from the Russian bar) We’ll be putting on entertainment there and creating the perfect pre party vibe. What’s more we’ll have mini vans on hand to whisk us all away to the venue when the time is right saving you the trouble.

Its all set to become a bit of a memorable one and we really hope you can be there with us.
