Meow is growing from strength to strength with each passing monthly showcase. East London has a massive following for the Meow UK Hip Hop Movement, so for the first time this year Meow step into THE RUSSIAN BAR right in the heart of Hackney’s Club Land.

With the event taking place on Carnival night this showcase is a sure thing to be packed to the rafters with Hip Hop enthusiasts eager to carry on the movement in all four corners of the UK’s capital city.

G MACULATE
Is a rising star from South London and the first signing of the brand new exciting record label ENGLISHBOY RECORDS. From writing, spitting lyrics in the studio to his stage presence he is an all round performer. Watch out for his first single release entitled “Die-lemma”

OUTLAW
Has been performing for Meow all around London for some time now, he headlined the CHARLIE SLOTH Talent Showcase in June and smashed up the dance at Camden Rock in July receiving the biggest cheer of the night from supporters that know a good MC when they hear one.

RITZ & BANDENO
Ritz has been performing monthly for Meow for two years. He first stepped on stage when he was just Fourteen years old, then it was clear that we had a talented artist on our hands with a management team around him who are constantly pushing him forward! Two years later he is becoming a man, with a presence on stage that is second to none. Having grown up quickly on the harsh streets of London Ritz puts his energy into spitting rhymes in the studio.

MCX
Contacted Meow last month leading with a demo on You Tube called “Laid Back”. We immediately booked MCX up for two shows in July in Camden and Brixton. His crowd reaction at both events was such that we feel it is only right that he is rewarded with a headline spot at the Hackney showcase.

LUNA MARIE
Vocalist, home grown lyricist with a Neo Soul style and an addiction to live performance. Inspired by the likes of Lauren Hill and Jazmine Sullivan, collaborating, writing for other artists and constant performing leading to 'Give it up' & soulful house track 'Dirty habit impending summer release on indie label AlphaTronik.
