While everybody is still enjoying their summer holiday, we the SubTone crew are in full swing preparing you for this edition of SubTone: ”The REBOOT of DR. TIONG”

We are proud to announce the long-awaited return of Amsterdam legend DJ DR. TIONG at SubTone on saturday the 10th of September.

After more than 15 years of absence, he’s back behind the turntables. DR. TIONG played a keyrole in the Amsterdam DJ Scene since day one. The man was responsible for numerous memorable gigs during his residencies at ‘De Richter’, ‘Soulkitchen’, ‘Dansen bij Jansen’, ‘Odeon’, and the early ‘Beachbop’ events just to name a few.

DR. TIONG is known for his exquisite taste for credible dance music. Characteristic for him as a DJ is his quality to create an ambiance that takes the crowd to a soulful and energetic level. He is considered as the first generation of DJ’s who mastered an all-round eclectic DJ style.

A timeless selection of his phenomenal record collection will be dusted off for this strictly vinyl edition. On the 10th of September he will REBOOT you with his signature sound by spinning funky black music; varying from Rare Grooves, Deeper House Grooves, US Garage, Boogie and beyond.

An extra sound system is provided during the night to give you that thump on the dancefloor. DR. TIONG accompanied by BOBBY MASH, URVINSON and CARLITO will reboot you and reset your mind, your body and your soul.

Hungry? No worries, Toko MC will be serving a fine selection from there soul-finger foods menu to still your cravings.
