After a longer break Sonar Kollektiv records, which was founded in Berlin over 12 years presents is back.
Due to structural changes on the market and in the label Sonar Kolllektiv took a 2 year break.
New limited vinyl, CDs and Digital-releases are coming up incl. " Upsidedown" with unreleased remixes of Jazzanova Tracks by Alex Barck, Motor City Drum Ensemble, etc.

For those, who don't know Sonar Kollektiv artist such as Ben Klock, Fat Freddys Drop, Highfish of Whitest Boy Alive, Georg Levin and Stee Downes have released their debut albums on the label.

For their Berlin Music Week showcase Sonar Kollektiv is very happy to have Stee Downes perform live and as a dj at the event. He released his debut Album on Sonar Kollektiv 2 years ago. And has been touring and been playing beside acts such as Roy Ayers, Amp Fiddler, Fat Freddys Drop, Bugz In The Attic and DJ Spinna. At the moment he is in the digital charts with his collaboration with Lovebirds. He also released material with Motor City Drum Ensemble and Rainer Trüby.

Last but not least. Sonar Kollektiv is happy to have Hunee and Dirk Rumpff joining in on the decks both long-time friends of the label.
