Halloween and Horses 2011

For Bimbo Deluxe, the Melbourne Cup has long signalled the return of summer. And those that know us will know it’s not like we need an excuse to throw a party, but we’ll take one if it comes along!
So we’ve teamed up with some European friends and Tickled Pink Events to help stage our next international production. German turntablist Philip Bader will be on loan from Europe to help us welcome in the festive season, not forgetting the Halloween and Horses of course.

Taking to the stage in 1999, Bader has experienced equal success and adornment. His deep minimalist techno sound is reminiscent of his native Berlin home and will be the perfect accompaniment to a Halloween haunt. His crazy on-stage antics will not go unnoticed amongst the Bimbo Crowd on the 31st of October..
Supporting this stalwart of sound will be a string of local support acts including Jamie Stevens, Steve Ward, Danni B, Uone & Cecille. The inaugural event is certain to make its founding mark upon Melbourne and we are confident that this will be the first of many ‘summer gateway’ par
