Solo is a man whose star is most definitely in the ascendance. His prodigious rise to prominence over the last few years has seen him release on a who's who of the most exciting labels in contemporary dance music, remix the likes of Underworld, Depeche Mode and Wiley and embark upon his first world tour. And, as if this wasn't already an enviable list of achievements, he can also add to this a residency at the world famous fabric nightclub in London. With his inimitable productions and high octane DJ sets in increasingly high demand, 2011 is set to be his busiest year yet.
Chefal is a resident at the two pioneering Dubstep nights in London DMZ and FWD and one of Bristols top Nights Hench which has now moved to a monthly at The Tube. Chefal is also a resident at club nights outside of the UK including Slam It! which is a bi-monthly event in Helsinki, Finland and also Voodoo People in Amsterdam, Holland and All Out Dubstep in Sweden!
Chefal has been hosting a weekly Radio Show on London's leading Rinse Fm (14 years on air) for nearly 5 years. When Chefal isn't playing the latest dubs at raves he's busy making them @ Transition Studios, while training to become a Mastering Engineer and managing the mighty Ringo Records, Sub Freq Records and pulling the strings with Osiris behind the London/Amsterdam run label Subbalicious Records!
Southern Hospitality founded the now infamous Hip Hop Karaoke London, the first of its kind in the U.K. and an event that has been a road-block every single month at The Social, in central London. As well as being featured on Radio 1, Channel 4 and in The Times, The Guardian, Metro and many others, Hip Hop Karaoke London was most recently seen on prime-time BBC as a main part of their Saturday night Glastonbury coverage. This was the second year Hip Hop Karaoke London and Southern Hospitality have taken Glastonbury by storm, and in 2008 have been booked for all the major festivals including Bestival, Camp Bestival and The Gatecrasher Summer Soundsystem. Other major events over the past three years have included the launch of Playstation 3 and work with MTV Base.
