Coma Events
Coma is a completely new underground club night concept.
The guys behind it have always thought about putting up their own events because they thought there was not much of a musical choice for people.

Coma was born on the 3th of December 2010 in Liverpool [U.K.], enjoying a lot of success, as a platform for new and talented artists to develop and emerge alongside well known artists who hardly performed in the U.K. before and in whom we believe will bring a new emphasis to the U.K.'s underground Techno music scene.
Our goal is to bring you a party to share our love for Techno in all its wider nuances.
Our "homies" will be joined by various electronic artists who will showcase their love and passion for this particular electronic style of music once a month with various special guests.

Our desire is to achieve our goals in a tasteful manner, creating an atmosphere that can enable both devoted dancers and laid-back listeners to equally enjoy the sounds that we love, as well as helping them discover new and inspiring ones.

It’s now time to wake London up from the Coma in which it has been in as well!

For our first party in London we have prepared a killer line-up!

Audio Injection vs Truncate [Droid // L.A.]

Since being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90’s, Audio Injection has been hooked. At the early age of 15 he started Djing and playing out at local underground events and raves around the Southern California area. You would find him spinning various styles from house, acid, & techno to hardcore techno.

After years of Djing he then decided to learn to produce his own music, which landed him releases on techno labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, & local label Droid Recordings. Since being associated with local event production group Droid Behavior in 2003, you can find him as a resident at the infamous Interface warehouse events as well as a regular producer for Droid Recordings along with Drumcell (Co-Founder of Droid Behavior). He has also played together with Drumcell at Berghain, Berlin in 2010 & 2011 as well as playing gigs in Athens, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Cologne, Wales, and various gigs throughout the U.S. and Mexico.

In early 2011 Audio Injection started a project called ‘Truncate’ which focuses on the deeper, darker, and more raw side of techno. His Truncate releases have been getting support from big players such as, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Jonas Kopp, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, Dvs1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Silent Servant, Technasia, and many more.

With releases & remixes on labels such as Droid, CLR, Electric Deluxe, Sleaze, BluFin, Enemy, Impact Mechanics, Ground Factory and many more, Audio Injection continues to shape his own sound as well as collaborate with Drumcell to release more mind bending techno, putting Los Angeles & Droid Recordings on the techno map.

65D Mavericks [Surface Records // London]

Running the highly regarded, Surface Records alongside Richard Polson (rip) since the late nineties, Nick Dunton has been a stalwart in the techno community ever since, with the label featuring not only the pairs own music but also that of luminaries such as Claude Young, Oliver Ho, Alexander Kowalski, Surgeon, Regis, James Ruskin, Paul Mac, Grovskopa, Oscar Mulero and following the label’s relaunch after a short break – Sandwell District & Orphx. Nick also runs the recently relaunched Inceptive Records which saw 12″ and album releases from Reeko, Nick Wilson, CYP, HU, Brendan Ealey & Phase with forthcoming eps from the likes of Charlton, Common Structures and many more , alongside this Nick has also recently launched a new sister label Inchoate Music, with a view to blurring the boundaries between House and Techno. The first release featuring the newly formed Echelon Plan with a very special remix by Deltafunktionen.!

Performing as the 65d mavericks, Nick & Richard built a worldwide reputation as one of the best live acts around. Tailoring every live set to each specific gig and becoming known throughout the electronic music scene for their no-compromise philosophies and diverse musical tastes, this has been reflected with full support and respect from their peers throughout the years. Nick has played regularly throughout Europe and beyond for the last decade or so passing through such legendary clubs as Lost, Kozzmozz, La Real, Fabric, Split etc.. lining up alongside the best the world has to offer!

Nick has released music on some of the world’s premier imprints including Steve Bicknell’s Lost recordings, James Ruskins — Blueprint, The Black Dogs — Dust Science imprint, Regis’ — Sandwell District, Function’s- Infrastructure, Ben Sims’ Theory and Makaton’s Rodz-Konez amongst others .

Forthcoming 65d Mavericks releases include a collaboration with Orphx, a remix of a Cane/Funckarma project on Syncat NL. Alongside this Nick has been busily working away in the studio on the next 65d album, hopefully to be released in early 2012.

Under the Ever Vivid monicker Nick shows a deeper shade with a sound rooted firmly in Britain. taking influence purely from the heart, with a nod to the glory days of the early 90′s new wave of Plaid, B12, Stasis and early Autechre.. expect forthcoming releases in 2011/12 on Blueprint, Open Mind (Jan 2011 and Jun/Jul 2011) and Token (t.b.c.)

With The Abelde Project .. Nick will be showing there is still undiscovered territory to be explored within the darker echelons of techno Forthcoming releases on Subsist (Jan 2011) and Inceptive (June 2011)

And finally as Nick Dunton he has decided to come out from the shadows and in the process produce some of his finest work to date kicking off the first ep on new Surface subsidiary “Beneath the Surface” .Journeys to the Deep’ was released to critical acclaim in late 2010, and Nick has quickly followed up this success with the next episode – Between Worlds on his own Surface Records, including a Sandwell District remix due for release later this month. Nick also has an ep in the works for longtime cohort James Ruskins Blueprint Records.

Doubleffe [Coma // Liverpool]

21 years old DJ / Producer / Promoter from Naples (Italy), but has been living in Liverpool (UK) for the past 7 years where he studied a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology

He started DJing & producing Techno at age of 14, straight after listening to Francois K's Sonar 2002 CD Mix. After that instant his research for Deep/Minimal/Detroit Techno never ended, from the likes of Robert Hood to Sandwell District & Ben Klock.
He has performed in various countries such as the UK, Italy & Japan.
From December 2010 he started monthly Techno events in Liverpool called "Coma", which he is now taking to London after moving here this summer to follow a Bsc course in Music Technology (Audio Systems) at London Metropolitan University.

November will see his debut on the Mexican label Assassin Soldier Recordings with one of his tracks called "Metamorphosis" plus another release with his good friend James Kininmonth (Ninteny3 Records) on Roel Salemink's brand new label Rosted Recordings
